MedRecordz.com (the “Website”) and the MedRecordz App (including the MedRecordz Mobile App and the MedRecordz Web App. Collectively referred to as the “App”) are internet based resources owned and operated by Universal MedRecordz Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us” and “our” as the context may require). We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, visitors and all other persons who access the Website and/or the App (herein referred to as “you”, “user” and “your” as the context may require).
This Privacy Policy describes the type of information collected from users, including Personal Information (as defined below) and Sensitive Personal Data or Information (as defined below) relating to an individual. It also describes the manner in which we collect, receive, store, process, use, transfer protect and disclose the Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Data or Information of users through the Website and the App.

1. Nature of Information Collected
1.1. Information Provided by Users
1.1.1. All information provided to us when a user registers, subscribe to services or purchase goods or services on the Website/App, including name, address, telephone number, email address, gender etc.
1.1.2. All information a user chooses to share on the Website/App such as photos, videos, comments, events or other user generated content that may be uploaded on our Website/App.
1.1.3. All Health Information (as defined in the applicable Terms and Conditions of Use) stored by a user, or in the user’s health account (as defined in the applicable Terms and Conditions of Use) on the MedRecordz platform.
1.1.4. Information constituting Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Data or Information (“SPDI”). For this purpose, Personal Information means any information that relates to a natural person which, either directly or indirectly, in combination with other information, is capable of identifying such person. SPDI means Personal Information which consists of information relating to:
(i) passwords;
(ii) financial information such as bank account or credit card or debit card or other payment instrument details;
(iii) physical, physiological and mental health condition;
(iv) sexual orientation;
(v) medical records and history; and
(vi) Biometric information.
1.1.5. Anonymized Data, as defined in the applicable Terms and Conditions of Use, which is de-identified, de-aggregated and/or altered such that it cannot be connected or linked to any specific user.
1.2. Information about Users received from Healthcare Providers
1.2.1. All information, including Personal Information and SPDI, and in particular Health Information pertaining to users transferred by healthcare providers, such as diagnostic centres, hospitals, clinics, doctors, dentists, pharmacies, insurance agencies, pharmaceutical companies etc.
1.2.2. Anonymized Data, as defined in the applicable Terms and Conditions of Use, which is de-identified, de-aggregated and/or altered such that it cannot be connected or linked to any specific user.
1.3. Information collected by Us
1.3.1. Technical information such as your IP Address, login information, operating system, browser type, the page served, time preceding page viewed, purchase history, search history, length of visits, metadata (data about other information collected, such as date, time, size etc.), and information from your mobile phone such as mobile number, device type, contacts list, location, IP address, login information, search history, purchase history, length of visits and metadata. (collectively referred to as “Usage Information”).
1.3.2. Log file information, i.e. information automatically reported by your browser upon accessing the Website/App.
1.3.3. Demographic data, profile data about users and behavioural information such as advertisements clicked on, products viewed, reviews read etc.
1.4. Cookies
1.4.1. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers or files that we transfer to your device through your web browser/mobile device to enable our systems to recognise your browser and to provide features such as ‘Recommended for You’, personalised advertisements on other web sites.

2.1. We use user information mentioned in Clauses 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 in the following ways and for the following purposes:

(ii) To process your registration and/or upload your user generated content;

(v) To carry out obligations arising from contracts between you and us including but not restricted to delivery of our services, collection of payment and provision of customer services;

3. Transfer and Disclosure of Information
3.1. We may share your information, including Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information among our affiliates, business partners, suppliers, sub-contractors and other third parties for processing, in order to provide you the best quality services. Such affiliates, business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors may be located within or outside India, for internal reasons, primarily for business and operational purposes.
3.2. We may share Anonymized Data with third parties, including but not limited to, advertisers, investors, vendors and strategic partners for commercial exploitation thereof.
3.3. We may transfer your information, including Personal Information and SPDI to third parties, in case of transfer of our business assets or ownership (such as in case of merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, liquidations etc.). In such event users will continue to remain the owner of such information and the buyer/transferee will continue to honour the terms of this Privacy Policy.

7.1. We strive to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of your information and to protect your information against unauthorized access or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction.
